Classic chess

Classic chess is a strategic two-player board game played on an 8x8 grid with 64 squares. Each participant begins with 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two knights, two rooks, two bishops, and eight pawns. The primary objective is to checkmate your opponent's king—threatening it with capture while keeping it protected from escape.
